Popular Female Singer Narrowly Escapes Death After Being Caught in Deadly Crossfire

Yvonne Chaka Chaka, an internationally recognised and highly respected South African singer, has narrowly escaped a tragic death.
 
The woman survived a near death experience after she was caught in the crossfire between cops and hijackers in Midrand, South Africa, yesterday.
 
The legendary singer tweeted a picture of the scene with the caption "Wow this is what I survived. Thank you Lord".

According to the Midrand Reporter, one hijacking suspect was killed during the shootout with cops and another injured.
 
Provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini told the paper “The men were being chased by police at the time. [The] two suspects were shot, one died at the scene and another was wounded and airlifted to the hospital under police guard,” he said.
 
In another tweet Mama Yvonne said "Thank u all  it was very close. Never seen a thing like this except at the movies.wow."

An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her football coach.
