Warning!!! Graphic Photos: Okada Rider Burnt to Death by Angry Mob in Lagos

For his alleged involvement in a armed robbery, a commercial motorcycle driver popularly known as "Okada", was today, September 27th, burnt to death by an angry mob at Finger bus-stop in the Badagry Expressway area of Lagos state.
 
An eyewitness who narrated the incident to LIB, said the Okada man was shot while trying to escape with his accomplice after a robbery.

"He was running along the road and jumped on the bike waiting for him. Unfortunately for them, Police around gave them a chase, fatally shooting the bike man in the process. An angry mob reportedly descended on the robbers, burning the bike man while the Police left with the armed accomplice."

  Idowu    Fikayo Idowu, a footballer of Nigerian descent, has died.   According to The Columbus Dispatch, Idowu hung out with friends on Thursday night and heard that they had planned to go swimming in a lake 40 miles northeast of Columbus on Friday. That was the last his friend Jensen, a fellow Ohio State University player, heard of him.   The following day, a Saturday, Jensen, while picking up another friend, got a call that Idowu died the night before; he drowned while swimming with friends.   “I knew a few people had been invited,”  Jensen, told the press.  “I just figured I’d stay home.   It has been revealed that in spite of the federal government’s assurance that the price of petrol will reduce from N145 per litre, it actually sold above the price in 15 states of the federation, last September.   Vanguard reports that this was revealed by a data from the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS.   According to the NBS, Cross River State led the price table with N154.6, followed by Kaduna, which had N151.8, while Kogi occupied the third position with the price of N150.4.   In Enugu State, petrol was sold at N148.7, while it was sold at N148.5 in Borno and N148 per litre in Kebbi State during the period under review. In Ebonyi State, it was sold at N147.6, while it sold at N147.2 in Bayelsa, N147.1 in Abia, N147 in Nassarawa, N146.5 in Kwara, N146.4 in Plateau and Benue, N146.3 in Niger, N146.1 in Imo and N145.6 per litre in Gombe State.   However, Akwa Ibom State recorded the lowest price of N142.5 per litre.   The NBS...
