Photos from the '1 Million March' for APC Candidate, Godwin Obaseki

 
A Million March was held today, 26th of September at the Edo State capital in Benin city for the APC candidate, Godwin Obaseki ahead of Edo state governorship election which is less than 48hrs away.
 
Several pressure groups and trade unions poured out en masse to support Obaseki who has received impressive endorsements ahead of the election on the 28th of September, 2016.
 
It is not clear if the crowd was able to hit the one million benchmark as they looked scantily far from the figure.

President Buhari   In a statement issued on Wednesday by Segun Adeyemi, the special adviser to Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, the President Buhari-led federal government has appointed Bayo Onanuga, editor-in-chief of TheNews, as the managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).   In all, six new chief executives have been appointed to replace those who were disengaged in some parastatals of the federal ministry of information and culture on February 15th 2016.   The new Chief Executives are:   1. After months of being drip-fed information by EA Sports, the game manufacturer has finally confirmed the final list of the top 50 players for FIFA 17. In one of our training sessions,my mentor collected a Nokia torch  hand set with fully charged battery. He brought a fresh egg. Then he puts the egg and the handset together and place them into a polythene bag. He tied the bag and told us to call the phone number..... Calling....calling.. ..busy.. busy.   When the battery is drained down,  he gave the phone to the owner and cracked the egg.   Behold the egg was cooked!!.. done!!!.   Law enforcement officers involved in investigating corrupt Nigerian judges arrested over the weekend have told Saharareporters how the main national body saddled with punishing judges have made it impossible to prosecute the judges even after they found guilty by the same body, the National Judicial Council. They revealed that in the cases of judges arrested over the weekend by the Department of State Security they had written to the Chief Justice of Nigeria,  Justice Mahmud Mohammed a month earlier regarding the criminal conduct of some of the judges but the CJN who is the presiding chairman at the NJC refused to let the judges be interrogated.   They said before the invitation by the DSS; the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had also tried to interrogate judges with whom they found substantial sums of bribe money but the NJC had insisted that the sanctions by the body were sufficient.
