Two members of the Jobless Youth Brotherhood are cooling their heads in police custody after calling the Ugandan Parliament Speaker Rebecca Kadaga a swine. The men have been remanded to Kirinya prison after the Jinja Magistrate’s Court denied them bail.

According to Daily Monitor, Magistrate John Kagwa agreed with the pleas of the prosecution to deny the two suspects, Mr Augustine Ojobile and Mr Robert Mayanja bail.

The prosecution says the duo are not trustworthy, considering their history of trouble making and the judge agreed with the prosecution to remand the duo.

The two were arrested on charges of inciting violence and defamation. They will now appear in court again next Thursday to answer to the charges.

The suspects were arrested last week after calling Ms Kadaga a pig while on a radio talk show.
