Police officer who made headlines for helping initiate the processes that led to the rescue of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Lagos has been honoured    Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and CSP Abba Kyari   Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, on Friday, March 31, honoured CSP Abba Kyari, the police officer who was behind the team that led the Special Intelligence Response Team that rescued the 3 abducted school girls in Ikorodu, with a Presidential Award for Courage.   It will be recalled that CSP Kyari led the operation that rescued the kidnappedgirls on March 6th.   CSP Kyari also led the team that rescued the mother of Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who was abducted in Delta state in 2012.   It is an honour well deserved.   See more photos below:

Tanker Filled With Fuel Explodes on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

  The tanker exploded around Mowe-Ibafo, Ogun State.   Many people have been feared killed and several others trapped in the incident.   The explosion which occurred at about 1am on Wednesday was said to have affected mostly residents who went to scoop petrol from a fallen tanker.   It was gathered that the explosion resulted to heavy gridlock on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, forcing people to flee their vehicles.   The Nation reports that many vehicles were engulfed by the fire.   More details later.

The girls were tricked into flashing their breasts for $100    A prankster has shared hilarious video of girls flashing their boobs for $100. The video which was uploaded on YouTube channel called PrankGenerator shows the host asking a lot of ladies in the street to show their boobs on camera for $100.      Although some were shy, they agreed but to their surprise, the money wasn't real and the whole thing was a set up prank. President Buhari Sends 3-year Spending Plan to National Assembly

President Buhari at his office   According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, sent the 2017-2019 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP), ahead of the 2017 budget, to the National Assembly.   A letter accompanying the document was read by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, at plenary.   The letter said that the document would provide the framework for the development of 2017 budget.   It said that MTEF and FSP were designed against the backdrop of an adverse global economic environment.   In the letter, Mr. Buhari said,  “the MTEF and FSP, which would provide the framework for the development of the 2017 budget, were designed against the backdrop of a generally adverse global economic environment.
