Nigerian Man in UK Banned for 5 Years From Approaching Women...See Why (Photo)

A Nigerian man in the UK has been banned from approaching women he does not know for five years or risk facing harsh measures against him.

A 49-year-old Nigerian man, Aniefiok Udo has been spared jail term after admitting to a string of sexual assaults on the  London Tube. He pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault on December 14.
 
He was handed a 16-week suspended sentence and banned for five years from approaching any woman he does not know while using public transport.

According to Bristish Transport Police, Udo assaulted the same 23-year-old woman on two separate occasions while travelling on the Central Line last year.

He approached her and began touching her after boarding trains at Hainault station at about 9pm on both occasions, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

After she reported the incidents to police in January, another woman also came forward to say she had been assaulted by the man.

Detective Constable Martin Chapman said: "No woman should fear using public transport, and we are committed to working with our partners to keep the rail network a safe place.

"I am pleased Udo has been brought before the courts to answer for his disgusting behaviour, and I would like to thank the women involved for reporting his actions to us."

Lagos to Impose Death Sentence on Kidnappers

Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Ambode Lagos State Government may soon join the growing number of states including Edo, Ogun and Anambra that have imposed death sentence on kidnappers, Vanguard reports. According to a private member bill sponsored by the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, “any person, who kidnaps, abducts, detains or captures or takes another person by any means or tricks with intent to demand ransom or do anything against his/her, will commit an offence, and liable to a conviction of death sentence. The Channels Television reporter in Imo State,Mr. Enyitope Kutiyi, was rescued from à thick forest at Uhuba town, in Ohaji/Egbema Council Area of the state. The reporter, who was kidnapped on Monday has regained his freedom on after police launched massive manhunt for his abductors.
