Dear dpg , I seriously think that you people should turn your radar to the UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, MAKURDI. The kind of injustice, malpractice and corruption going on in that school is unprecedented. The latest one is the battle for the VC's office, Since the present VC Prof. Emmanuel Kucha will be leaving by November. He has left the school damaged without recognition. I wish you can visit or talk to any of your sources in makurdi. Anyway, more than 11 people contested for the position, as at the day before yesterday, they were reduced to 9, who went in for the final rounds of vetting and interview yesterday. The outcome was released and the favorite candidate came first. That was the news yesterday, but this morning (today) the result have changed, due to external politically corrupt individuals who call themselves stakeholders in the state, who had never one day contributed to the success of the students or staff of that school. To come and force a ...

Not much is actually known about 'The Beast' since it falls under the Secret Service's classified motor pool, but a few specifications and secrets have leaked out over the last few years. Designed from the ground up by the Secret Service, President Barack Obama's $1.5 million "Cadillac One," aka "The Beast," is a moving fortress impenetrable by bullets and bombs. The president has 12 identical limos in rotation and, when not in use, they're parked in the basement of the Secret Service's headquarters and are under 24-hour surveillance. According to the AutoWeek reports: It's called "The Beast," but it might surprise you to learn that President's massive Cadillac isn't really a Cadillac. And there's not one, but a dozen, in the highly classified motor pool. The cars travel with their own mechanic, an armed federal agent who carries a vast arsenal of electronic diagnostic devices and tools. We...
Ayodele Fayose The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has continued to expose the massive diversion of state funds into private use by the Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party and staunch critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration. A report by Punch Newspapers reveals the arrest of a close ally of Fayose named Abiodun Agbele by the EFCC has been very instrumental in the tracing of looted funds by the anti-graft body. Agbele, who is currently in EFCC custody, was said to have received N1.219bn from a former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, on behalf of Fayose during the build-up to the Ekiti governorship election in June 2014. However, EFCC detectives alleged that Fayose used a large portion of the N1.219bn along with some money from the Ekiti State coffers to buy houses in Lagos and Abuja which have since been seized by the anti-graft agency. An investigator told a Punch corre...

Abba Ibrahim Gamawa (16/11/16) I have honestly been avoiding the news about the lynching of a seven-year old boy, hoping it will just fizzle away like all those senseless and unimaginable headlines we come across from mischievous media outlets like Newsrescue. I have had to drop my phone twice opon the sight of that headlines earlier today. But I guess the savagery of Lagosians is real, thus, a seven-year old boy was truly lynched and burnt to death. Subhanallah! From the Brexit, to the Trump thing, and now this! How the supposedly enlightened ones (we see Lagos as such in Nigeria) are displaying uncivility and even barbarity is yet another paradox of our generation we need to be mindful of. I wouldn't even dare to compare the value of his life to the Garri (Kwaki!) he stole, for an adage says it's unfair to say a knife is shaper than a stick. Before going further, I have to say that I don't have the vocabulary that will do justice to my sentiment at the moment, and q...
