A Nigerian player tipped for greatness has lost his life untimely in an hospital.

The deceased, Baba Idris

One of the super players of Nasarawa United FC Nigeria, Baba Idris is dead. This was announced through the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Baba Idris died on Monday after being admitted in hospital two weeks ago for undisclosed illness. He was a prolific player that helped his team stay in the Nigerian premier league.

The residents of Borno state have accused the Nigerian military of reducing the number of casualties from the recent Boko Haram attacks to deceive the general public.
