See the Ruins Left Behind After Suicide Bombing in Maiduguri (Photos)

A suicide bomber suspected to be a member of the Boko Haram terrorist group has taken out the entire family members in a household after a fatal explosion.

Here are pictures from the suicide bomb attack which occurred yesterday, 27th of December in Maiduguri which reportedly causing the death of 15 members of a family, including three wives of a village head, their 10 children and two other persons.
Security operatives at the scene to examine the level of the damage
The people of the area said the woman who caused the death went running into the house of the village head in Bakasi layout of Maiduguri claiming she was being chased by Boko Haram.
When the members of the household gathered to calm her down she detonated her explosives killing everyone close to her.

Fake Drinks Seized by NAFDAC in Edo State...See Brands (Photos)

Some adulterated drinks in the class of Hennessy, Red Label and a host of others well-patronized in Nigeria have been seized in the South-south part of the country, Edo state. Some of the seized drinks The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has seized about 20 cartons of different brands of popular alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, from 12 shops at Upper Sakponba, Mission Road and vegetable market, off Airport Road. Test kits were used to ascertain the wholesomeness of the processed drinks. A Chief Regulatory Officer in the Enforcement and Operations unit of the agency, Joseph Idowu, decried the prevalence of fake and badly processed drinks in Benin. A pharmacist, Godwin Okonufia, who was part of the NAFDAC enforcement team, pointed out that the consumption of counterfeit drinks could cause kidney problems.
