Senatorial Aspirant Shared Strange Message on Facebook Status and Died 2 Hours Later


A prominent Nigerian died on Christmas day some moments after making a Facebook post with a connotative meaning.

A Nigerian politician has kicked the bucket two hours after making a confusing post on Facebook. This happened yesterday December 25th, 2015, Christmas Day.

Egheomhanre Eyieyien was the Group Chief Executive Officer of Pharez Limited, an aspirant for the Nigerian Senate from Edo State. He is survived by wife, Awesiri Nwaji Eyieyien (married 5th September, 1992) and son, Omoseona Isaiah Chukwuyenumkekanma.

Gunmen Abducted Paramount Ruler’s Pregnant Wife

Chief Asuquo Abia, the Secretary, Traditional Rulers Council, Esit Eket, told NAN in Esit Eket on Saturday that the gunmen invaded the palace of the paramount ruler in the wee hours of Friday morning. No fewer than 10 unknown gunmen on Friday night kidnapped the pregnant wife of Ubong Assam, the paramount ruler of Esit Eket in Akwa Ibom. The gunmen also abducted the four children of the traditional ruler. Abia, who is also the Village Head of Afaha Akpenedi, said the gunmen shot sporadically for over five hours from 1.30 a.m. to 6 a.m. “The gunmen destroyed part of the palace with dynamites and broke into all the rooms and carted away valuables,’’ he said. Joint Task Force Arrests Top Commander of Niger Delta Militant Group

  A top Commander of the Urhobo/Isoko militant group, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate (NDGJM), has been nabbed by the operatives of the Joint Task Force (JTF) code-named Operation Delta Safe.   It would be recalled that the NDGJM kickstarted full scale militant operations in the oil rich region after the foremost group Niger Delta Avengers announced a ceasefire after a tentative agreement with the Federal Government. Security sources told ThisDay newspaper on Monday night that the high profile suspect was apprehended on Sunday after diligent surveillance by JTF operatives. The suspect, whose name could not be ascertained at the time of this report, was said to have been arrested along with four of his foot soldiers.
