TWO GIRLS' CONVERSATION IN A BUS Forwarded by Diqrulah

Image
I was in a car travelling to Lagos. The girls in front of me were having a conversation about their first time experience in a plane... The first girl said , "Kate, you won't believe where me and my boyfriend spent our holidays last month." Kate answered , "Please tell me about it." MARY : We boarded a plane to France. We were in the first class cabin, I was sitting close to the pilot, they were serving us many delicacies like cake, meat pie, red wine, palm wine, suya, roasted yam, etc. Later the plane became stuffy, I had to roll down the window. I saw everybody on the ground, I saw my house, I even saw that your fine brother. KATE: That means you enjoyed a lot on the plane. MARY : Very much! KATE : My boyfriend and I travelled to Canada too. The journey was so enjoyable except when the plane had a flat tyre. We had to park and call a roadside mechanic to replace the flat tyre. Later, we were caught up in traffic. The pilot had to come out to ...

Those Behind the Fall of Naira Will Not Live to Enjoy It - Pastor Adeboye Places Curse on Greedy Nigerians

Image
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye     The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has cursed some greedy Nigerians who are “destroying the Naira” for their own evil gains.    The man of God stated during a sermon yesterday, at a special Sunday Service organized by RCCG Region 11, Ikoyi/Victoria Island family, at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Onikan, Lagos that he received a revelation from God early this year, but was just sharing it for the first time. “Those who are deliberately destroying the Naira will make the money but will not spend it,”  Adeboye declared.   The Naira has drastically nose-dived in value in recent months, exchanging at over N500 to the dollar, before it began to appreciate lately.   As at last weekend, it suffered further depreciation after it was sold N405 to the dollar at...

Why Marriage is Beyond Cooking & Praying for an Hour - Pastor Chris Ojigbani Talks on Trending

Image
Pastor Chris Ojigbani   Recently, there was this controversy going on in the social media that a man shouldn’t marry a woman who doesn’t know how to cook or a woman who doesn’t pray for an hour. So, I deem it necessary to clarify the issue. As the apostle of marriage, it’s my responsibility to clarify the issue to avoid causing more delayed marriage, separation and divorce in the world.   This is the will of God concerning the issue: You must not use cooking as a criterion for choosing your spouse. Though food is important in life, cooking must not be used as a criterion for choosing a spouse. Why? I tell you three reasons.   First, a woman who doesn’t know how to cook can actually learn how to cook. Second, a woman can employ the services of a professional cook. Third, a husband can tolerate if his wife doesn’t cook very well. Tolerance is important in marriage because everybody has weaknesses, both husbands and wives. If a woman doesn’t know how t...

2016 - a year of social media drama and controversies. Only when we thought the Twitter beef was left only for entertainers and celebrities, our politicians has taken it up a notch with yet another Twitfight! Senator Ben Murray-Bruce   Bayelsa state Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, were earlier today, engaged in a twitter fight over the activities of the current APC-led federal government.   The twitter fight which went viral, was set off by a tweet posted by Japhet Omojuwa, who tweeted that Ben Bruce should not be taken seriously. "The reason I will NEVER take people like Ben Bruce serious is because when they saw a leader (GEJ) do wrong, they kept quiet. Don’t be Bruce," he said.     As expected, the Silverbird boss responded and chose to use the recent comments credited to President Buhari that some Nigerians are giving the country a bad image by engaging in nefarious activities around the wo...
