Many people in Northern Nigeria are eager to wipe out the pain and sorrow brought upon the region by Boko Haram as examplified by the bold and inspiring act of this elderly woman who just joined the Civilian Joint Taskforce to fight the terrorists in Borno State.
 
The information was made known by a Twitter user, Dan-Borno who wrote on his timeline: "Exceptional picture of a newly recruited #Woman #CivilianJTF in #Bama, her story for joining is worth sharing."
 
Much details about the woman was not provided, but the woman's boldness and bravery has been well commended by many who have seen Dan-Borno's post.
 
The Civilian Joint Task Force is a loose group of militants that was formed in Maiduguri, Nigeria to oust Boko Haram Islamist fighters from their city.
 
The group possesses basic weapons and has other female members who have also volunteered in the fight.
