See the List of the Conditions for Intending Wedding Couples in RCCG

A list which is reportedly a mandatory guideline for couples who want to get married in Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) House of David, has emerged online and has already gone viral.
 
Some of the guidelines include;
 
1. At least 4 weeks to the wedding date, the Bride's wedding dress, the chief Bridesmaid Dress and one of the bridesmaid's dresses must be presented to the marriage committee for Fitting/Inspection/Approval.
 
2. No tail is allowed on Wedding dress. Traditional Wedding gowns are also not allowed. You are required to wear decent calf-length dress and only short veils are allowed.
 
3. The Bride will be required to take a pregnancy test at the church designated hospital.
 
4. The Church must receive at least six (6) months notice to the date of wedding.
 
5 The groom wears a well tailored two piece suit. No fancy waist coat, tail, too hats or cravats.

Two People Land in Prison for Calling Parliament Speaker a Pig on Radio

(Photo by Moses Okeya)   Two members of the Jobless Youth Brotherhood are cooling their heads in police custody after calling the Ugandan Parliament Speaker Rebecca Kadaga a swine. The men have been remanded to Kirinya prison after the Jinja Magistrate’s Court denied them bail.   According to  Daily Monitor , Magistrate John Kagwa agreed with the pleas of the prosecution to deny the two suspects, Mr Augustine Ojobile and Mr Robert Mayanja bail.    The prosecution says the duo are not trustworthy, considering their history of trouble making and the judge agreed with the prosecution to remand the duo.    The two were arrested on charges of inciting violence and defamation.
