Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says Karim Benzema has fully recovered from the hamstring problem that kept him out of the 4-0 La Liga win over Eibar

Uefa Champions League LogoAt the weekend and could feature in the Champions League encounter with Wolfsburg.
The France international picked up the knock in the first leg of the quarter-final tie with the Bundesliga outfit, when he was forced off shortly before the half-time whistle.

Zidane will be able to count on Benzema today, though, as Madrid look to overturn a 2-0 first-leg defeat.

“Benzema is fully recovered from his injury,” Zidane said of his compatriot.

“He is ready to play against Wolfsburg. He is part of the squad, feeling well and focused on the task ahead of us.”

Madrid need at least two goals in order to reach the semi-finals, but they cannot afford to solely focus on attacking and Zidane has highlighted the importance of Brazilian midfielder Casemiro.
“Casemiro is a player who gives the team balance,” Zidane added.

“He gives us something extra defensively, not only when we are defending, but also in possession.
“We need him to reach the next round. He thinks a lot about his role on the pitch.”

Explosion Rocks Shell Trunkline in Ogoniland, Rivers State (Photos)

Trunkline explosion in Goi community   A trunk line which belongs to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) carrying crude oil in the Goi community in the Ogoniland area of Rivers State was engulfed in fire and flames on Monday morning.    An environmental activist, Celestine Akpobari, who visited the site, disclosed that the inferno occurred just a few meters away from a military surveillance post. According to her, the fire immediately followed the sound of an eruption affecting the Agbada/Bomu trunk line.   "Goi, another Ogoni community, is on fire this early morning from an eruption on the 28-inch Agbada/Bomu trunkline belonging to Shell, which is just a few meters from the surveillance post. The burial of the former governor of Kogi state and candidate of the APC in the inconclusive governorship poll in the state , Prince Abubakar Audu, takes place today at Ogbonicha in Ofu Local Government Area. Audu was buried at 2 pm Monday afternoon. The burial rites were conducted by a team of Imams . Before his burial, men and women of faith engaged in fervent prayers to bring Audu back to life. As the prayers continued, some people started shouting loudly that he had risen. This led to assertions that Audu came back to life. Rumours quickly spread wide.
