Jermaine Jackson Older Brother of Michael Jackson Storms Lagos (Photos)

Jermaine Jackson who is himself a former pop star who sang with the legendary pop group, The Jackson 5, stormed Lagos recently.
 
 
Jermaine was caught on camera visiting the APC National leader, Bola Tinubu at his Ikoyi, Lagos home yesterday April 28th.
 
The purpose of his visit is however, still not known.

Explosion Rocks Shell Trunkline in Ogoniland, Rivers State (Photos)

Trunkline explosion in Goi community   A trunk line which belongs to the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) carrying crude oil in the Goi community in the Ogoniland area of Rivers State was engulfed in fire and flames on Monday morning.    An environmental activist, Celestine Akpobari, who visited the site, disclosed that the inferno occurred just a few meters away from a military surveillance post. According to her, the fire immediately followed the sound of an eruption affecting the Agbada/Bomu trunk line.   "Goi, another Ogoni community, is on fire this early morning from an eruption on the 28-inch Agbada/Bomu trunkline belonging to Shell, which is just a few meters from the surveillance post.     Operatives attached to the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit in company with some marine policemen and hoodlums, have reportedly demolished no fewer than 150 structures on waterfronts in Otondogbame, in the Lekki area of Lagos State.   According to Punch Metro, the operatives stormed the community around 5am on Sunday, shooting indiscriminately, during which a resident, identified as a 20-year-old David Aya, was killed by a stray bullet.   It was gathered that several others, including one Monday Idowu, were also said to have sustained gunshot injuries as the team wet the structures with kerosene and set fire to them.   Photos released online showed that some of the displaced residents, who had yet to find alternative settlements, stayed on boats.     While speaking with a correspondent, a resident identified as Jonathan Zosu, disclosed that the demolition was carried out w...
