EFCC Declears Former INEC Chairman Wanted for Over N23bn Election Bribery Given by Diezani
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched a
manhunt for a former chairman of the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) in connection with a N23.29b poll bribery scandal,

Former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke
According to the report, he is alleged to have perpetrated
strategies which ensued the rigging of elections by taking bribe
totalling millions.
Also, it was gathered that the former INEC chairman has been
evading arrest since last two weeks before the EFCC now put him on red
alert.
An EFCC source said: “Our operatives are still looking for him. We have put other security agencies on the alert.
“He is wanted in connection with the N23.29 poll bribery
perpetrated by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani
Alison-Madueke.”
