Chief Asuquo Abia, the Secretary, Traditional Rulers Council, Esit Eket, told NAN in Esit Eket on Saturday that the gunmen invaded the palace of the paramount ruler in the wee hours of Friday morning. The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ondo State has suffered a set back as two former commissioners, Local government Chairmen and two former Lawmakers defected to the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC.    They claimed that over 5000 of former PDP chieftains dumped the ruling party for the opposition Party according to the Vanguard.     A young boy has been stabbed to death during a friendly street football match in Okota, Lagos after the match turned violent.   One of the players stabbed an opponent to death at the weekend when the misunderstanding started.   According to Vanguard, some youths from Oseni Liade Street were playing football at the end of the street, when a group of boys from neighbouring Taiwo Street came to join them. But the visiting youths were told to wait for their turn.   At the end of the first round, another set of players, among who were the visiting youths, were expected to take over the football pitch.   But eyewitnesses said they were disallowed, an action that degenerated into a fight.
