Nigerian Troops taking Food Supplies to the War-front Step on Land Mine at Nigeria-Cameroon Border (Graphic Photos)

Nigerian soldiers who were on a journey from the boundary between Cameroon and Nigeria to Maiduguri, Borno state were hit by an explosive after accidentally stepping on a mine.
 
Though a military truck was destroyed along with some of the goods (mainly foodstuff) being transported. Thankfully, no soldier died in the incident.

8 Reported Killed and 15 Injured as Bomb Explosion Hits Motor Park

  We  reported few hours ago  that there was another bloodshed in the north-eastern part of Nigeria with members of the deadly Boko Haram sect fingered in a fatal attack.   The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) disclosed on its Twitter page that a bomb exploded on Wednesday morning at a motor park in Borno state, adding that the explosion happened around Muna garage in Maiduguri, the capital of the state.     The agency disclosed further that at least eight people are reported to have died in the explosion while 15 injured persons were said to have been evacuated to Specialist and Teaching Hospitals in Maiduguri.   NEMA sayid emergency workers were en route to the scene of the bomb blast.

Court Grants Reopen Bianca’s Case

A request by the widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, Bianca, to re-open her evidence-in-chief, in the suit she filed against her husband’s family was, on Tuesday, granted by a Lagos High Court, Igbosere. Mrs. Ojukwu had, on behalf of her two under-aged children, Afamefuna and Nwachukwu (claimants), dragged Ojukwu Transport Limited (OTL) and seven others before the court over an alleged move by the family to eject her sons from the company’s property located in Lagos. The company (OTL) and its property belong to father of the late Biafra warlord. Other defendants in the suit are Prof Joseph Ojukwu, Engr.
