2016 Forbes List of World's 100 Most Powerful Women

Just a few days ago, American business magazine, Forbes released its list of World's 100 Most Powerful Women. Just three African extraordinary achievers made the world list. 
 
In the list, one outstanding Nigerian woman was ranked the most powerful woman in Africa. She is no other than business mogul Folorunsho Alakija.
 
Folorunsho Alakija is a Nigerian businesswoman who is the second richest African woman after Isabel Dos Santos and also the third richest woman of African descent in the world.

In the newly published list, she is followed by Liberia’s President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and Mauritius’ President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim as the only three African women who made the list this year.

The most powerful woman in the world is Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, followed by Hillary Clinton, Janet Yellen, Melinda Gates and Mary Barra the CEO of General Motors in the United States.
