Notorious Armed Robber Burnt to Death in Calabar (Photo)

 
We earlier reported about a notorious armed robber who was burnt to death in Calabar on Tuesday 21st June 2016 along mount Zion road, Calabar South, Cross River State.
 
The man was among a five-man robbery gang that robbed the area yesterday. While his other gang members escaped, luck ran out on him as he was caught by the angry mob and lynched before he was burnt to death.

Fayose writes Chinese Government to stop Buhari’s $2bn loan

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has written to the Chinese government, seeking the stoppage of the $2 billion loan being sought by the federal government of Nigeria. In the letter dated April 12, 2016, with reference number EK/GOV/28/10, addressed to President Xi Jinping of China and delivered by Chief of Staff to the governor, Barrister Dipo Anisulowo in Abuja on Thursday, through the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Gu Xiaojie, Fayose said some of the projects for which the loan was being sought were not captured in the controversial 2016 budget, which has been sent to the President by the National Assembly for his assent. Troops Discover Largest Single cache of Boko Haram Ammunition

The Theatre Commander, “Operation Lafiya Dole”, Maj.-Gen. Lucky Irabor, disclosed this at a news conference in Biu on Sunday.   He said the arms and ammunition were hidden in bunkers made by the terrorists.
