Former Governor of Kebbi State, Saidu Dakingari, has been arrested and detained by the Kano Zone of the EFCC.

The man is currently being quizzed for his alleged involvement in the sharing of N450 million PDP campaign slush fund.

He is also being asked to explain how another amount of N550 million state funds were diverted to his party, the PDP, during the 2015 presidential campaigns.

According to ThisDay, a statement made available on Thursday by media head of Kano Zone of EFCC, Mr Medard Ehimika, said Dakingari is cooperating with operatives in the investigations.

The statement said more details will emerge when more facts are available.

A statue of Jesus in Korea is causing a lot of reaction on social media because of its unusual depiction of the Christ. This photo above has caused ripples online after it emerged recently. The cause of reaction is the unsually muscular depiction of Jesus. Many internet users have argued that if Jesus Christ was that huge, he would probably not have been crucified at all. Police officer who made headlines for helping initiate the processes that led to the rescue of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Lagos has been honoured Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau and CSP Abba Kyari Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, on Friday, March 31, honoured CSP Abba Kyari, the police officer who was behind the team that led the Special Intelligence Response Team that rescued the 3 abducted school girls in Ikorodu, with a Presidential Award for Courage. It will be recalled that CSP Kyari led the operation that rescued the kidnappedgirls on March 6th.
