Handing and Taking Over Ceremony Between Outgoing and Incoming IGP in Abuja


 
 
The newly appointed Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotum Idris, has officially taken over as the former IGP, Dr Solomon E. Arase FDC, NPM (rtd) hands over.
 
The handing and taking over ceremony between out-going the newly appointed Inspector General of Police took place at the IGP’s Conference Hall in the Force Headquarters, Abuja, yesterday 22nd June, 2016.

Man Beheaded in Ebonyi-Benue Boundary

A boundary dispute in Nigeria has escalated with one case of gruesome murder recorded as well as kidnapping by yet to be identified assailants.    One Eze Stephen of Ojiogu village, Ukwuagba- Ngbo community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was this weekend reportedly beheaded over the lingering war between the community and their counterpart of Agila in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, according to the Vanguard.   Nwede Augustine was also kidnapped when unknown gunmen invaded the Ngbo community, allegedly from Agila community in Benue State. About five others were reportedly injured during the invasion which occurred in the night.
