3 Vigilante Members Killed br Robbers in Benue State (Warning!!! Disturbing Photo)

Three members of the Benue state vigilante group have been killed after suspected armed robbers attacked Okpoga community in Okpokwu Local Government Area in the early hours of yesterday, June 26th, 2016.

According to residents of the community, the robbers who were about 15 in number, stormed their homes and started shooting sporadically.
 
3 members of the local vigilante group were killed and their bodies have been deposited in a mortuary while 3 others sustained serious injuries and are being treated at the St. Mary’s Hospital, Okpoga.

Suspected kidnappers on Saturday abducted and killed the newly appointed transition committee chairman of Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State.   According to family sources who spoke to PremiumTimes on Saturday, the newly appointed transition committee chairman of Jos East Local Government Area, Hosea Azi was kidnapped on Friday evening along Miango road, in Kufang, near former NYSC Secretariat in Jos South Local Government Area of the state. The ongoing trial of former NIMASA Director-General Patrick Akpobolokemi over the misappropriation of government funds has continued to reveal mind-boggling revelations. Patrick Akpobolokemi A prosecution witness, Mr Emeka Emelano, Tuesday told the Federal High Court in Lagos that he did not ask why the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) paid his company N72million even though it did not bid for any contract, the Nation reports.
