Duncan Mighty who is widely recognised as one of the most significant pop artistes from Rivers State has alleged to have had a meeting with the militant group, Niger Delta Avengers.
 
The singer shared the photo himself with some members of the Nigerian Army right after the said meeting on his Instagram page.

An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her football coach.

Mfreke Effiong clubbed his father to death with a stick A disagreement between a husband and wife has led to the murder of the husband by the 25-year-old son, Mfreke Effiong, from Ikot Akpainyang Asutan village, in Ibesikpo/Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
