Fayose is an 'Unchained Mad Dog' - Aisha Buhari

 
The outspoken Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, sent the the social media on fire yesterday when he made a grave allegations that the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari was indicted in the widely reported Halliburton corruption scandal.
 
In a press statement by Garba Shehu, the presidential Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, the Presidency dismissed as laughable the desperate attempt by Governor Ayo Fayose to link the president's wife, Aisha Buhari, to prosecuted U.S Congressman, William Jefferson’s bribery scandal for which the American lawmaker was convicted in 2009.
 
 
As if the statement from the presidency was not enough, the president's wife, Aisha Buhari, took to Twitter and labelled the state governor as an unchained mad dog. “Enough is Enough Fayose. A mad dog that isn’t chained. I refuse to keep quiet,” the First Lady posted on her verified Twitter handle on Tuesday evening.
 
As the tweets went viral online and social on media, Nigerians called for her to either take the posts down or stay out of “complex” political matters, and she obliged and later deleted the controversial tweets

A 25-year-old man has brutally clubbed his father to death in a fit of anger after an argument ensued between the father and mother. Mfreke Effiong clubbed his father to death with a stick A disagreement between a husband and wife has led to the murder of the husband by the 25-year-old son, Mfreke Effiong, from Ikot Akpainyang Asutan village, in Ibesikpo/Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. A Delta state university undergraduate has been nabbed for being in possession of illegal fireman by the law enforcement agency.     The Police authorities in Delta State have arrested an undergraduate student of the Delta State University, Abraka, for illegal possession of firearm in Abbi community, Ndokwa West local government area.   Police spokesperson, DSP Celestina Kalu said in a statement on Thursday in Asaba that the suspect was nabbed following a tip off after he allegedly hid the firearms under a tricycle on a ride with his friends.   “On January 27, 2016 at about 3.20pm, detectives attached to Kwale Division in conjunction with vigilantes while acting on a tip off arrested one Ode Victor, male, a 5th year Business Administration student of DELSU Abraka. “The suspect, who is resident at Solid Rock Hostel Abbi, was found with a locally made single barrel gun cut to size concealed under a tricycle,” Kalu said.   T...
