Zenith Bank Allegedly Denies Governor Fayose

Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose whose personal bank accounts with Zenith Bank Plc were restricted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been entangled in yet another drama with the commercial bank.
 
Fayose in a lengthy official statement revealed how his campaign was heavily funded by Zenith bank through loans, but Sahara Reporters in a swift response yesterday contacted a source in the bank and it was reportedly revealed that Fayose was attempting to use the bank to cover up some slush funds he received from the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and Musiliu Obanikoro who has been alleged to be on exile.

Zenith Bank has reportedly dared Governor Fayose to publish his bank statements for all his 3 accounts at the bank so the public could see them and stop the charade of dragging them into his dirty politics as revealed on the Twitter page of the online news platform as seen below:

EFCC to Arraign Fani-Kayode, Ex-Minister for N1.5bn Fraud

Femi Fani Kayode   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is set to arraign a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode; a former Minister of Finance, Senator Nenadi Usman; a firm, Joint Trust Dimensions Limited; and one Jimoh Yusuf for an alleged N1.5bn fraud. The anti-graft commission will on Wednesday arraign a former Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Waripamowei Dudafa, for an alleged N1.6bn fraud. An impeccable source at the anti-graft agency told a correspondent that Fani-Kayode, Usman and Yusuf would be charged with 17 counts bordering on money laundering and fraud. The source added,  “We have filed charges against Fani-Kayode, Usman, Yusuf and a company, Joint Trust Dimensions Limited. Yusuf was the signatory to the account of Joint Trust Dimensions Limited. President Muhammadu Buhari   The thirty-six states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have collected a whopping N673.324billion as their share of statutory allocation and first tranche of the excess crude earnings distribution for the period.   According to a report by ThisDay, a document from the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation titled:  "Distribution of Statutory Allocation and Excess Crude Proceeds to the three tiers of Government in July 2016"  showed that five of the states: Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Akwa Ibom and Kano, catapulted themselves to the two-digits wrung with each carting home between N10 billion and N25 billion.   Similarly, Nasarawa and Ekiti States received N4.508 billion and N4.732 billion respectively.
