Mother of two, Omawumi was pictured by the roadside in a place assumed to be in Lagos eating publicly. This picture which hit social media has been trailed by a mixed perceptions among her fans.
 
Some saluted the Delta-born singer for being true to herself while others berated her for not living up to her status as a celebrity.
 
A top commenter believes this shouldn't be condemned as politicians like Governors Ayo Fayose, Adams Oshiomhole and Nasir El-Rufai engage in it freely to win the the hearts of the electorate during and after elections.

Fayose writes Chinese Government to stop Buhari’s $2bn loan

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has written to the Chinese government, seeking the stoppage of the $2 billion loan being sought by the federal government of Nigeria. In the letter dated April 12, 2016, with reference number EK/GOV/28/10, addressed to President Xi Jinping of China and delivered by Chief of Staff to the governor, Barrister Dipo Anisulowo in Abuja on Thursday, through the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Gu Xiaojie, Fayose said some of the projects for which the loan was being sought were not captured in the controversial 2016 budget, which has been sent to the President by the National Assembly for his assent. Troops Discover Largest Single cache of Boko Haram Ammunition

The Theatre Commander, “Operation Lafiya Dole”, Maj.-Gen. Lucky Irabor, disclosed this at a news conference in Biu on Sunday.   He said the arms and ammunition were hidden in bunkers made by the terrorists.
