#Breaking News: Senator Ben Bruce Finally Reacts to AMCON's Seizure of His Multi-billion Naira Properties



 
In our earlier report today, it was revealed that the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on Thursday morning, took over the multi-billion naira assets of three companies belonging to outspoken Bayelsa State Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce.
 
The AMCON had, by notice of appointment dated April 18, appointed Muiz Banire as Receiver/Manager over the sprawling assets of the three companies - Silverbird Galleria Limited, Silverbird Promotions Limited, and Silverbird Showtime Limited.
 
As the news went viral online and social media with photos, the popular politician known as the 'common sense senator' took to his social media and reacted to the reports and said;
 
"I have been on an international flight and have only just landed. The situation is being resolved and things will be back to normal. In 36 years, Silverbird has grown and as with any institution, it will face challenges. Tough times dont last. But we, as tough people, outlast them," he wrote on his Twitter accoun

Jay Z fighting to keep financial & criminal records out of 'Big Pimpin' lawsuit

Rapper Jay Z is asking a judge to keep his financial and criminal records confidential in his 'Big Pimpin' lawsuit, insisting the documents do not pertain to the case. The hip-hop mogul has been locked in a California court battle with Osama Ahmed Fahmy since 2007, after he alleged Jay Z's hit song, Big Pimpin violates his rights to his uncle Baligh Hamdy's Egyptian composition, Khosara, Khosara, which was released in 1957. Jay Z has maintained the song is protected under a previous licensing agreement made by producer Timbaland when the song was released in 2000, but a trial date has been set for later this year if the two parties cannot come to an agreement.   A SEMA official gathering the remains of the suicide bombers   Three suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers have died in an attempt to attack Muna Garage, Dabarmari and Dusuma villages in Maiduguri metropolis.   The incident occurred at about 4:38am on Sunday morning. Woman wakes Up to Find 17-ft Python Slithering Around in Her Room (Photos)

  The woman, identified as Trina Hibberd, from Mission Beach in Queensland, woke on Monday to find the 5.2m scrub python in her room.   The python named Monty was stretched from her lounge room to her bedroom.   According to BBC, Monty managed to turn on a light and knock over a lamp before snake-catcher Dave Goodwin arrived to take out the reptile.   Mr Goodwin induced the snake to wrap around his forearm before capturing it inside a plastic home-brewing jug.     He told the BBC the 40kg snake was  "choking [his] arm to death"  before he transferred it into the tub.   "When you go near them they have this real deep gurgle in their throat, which means in other words don't come near me,"  he said.   To encourage the snake to grab hold of his arm, Mr Goodwin first grabbed it near the head with a pair of tongs.   "The tongs won't hold it, it's too big, so I use the tongs to divert its attentio...
