#Breaking News: Senator Ben Bruce Finally Reacts to AMCON's Seizure of His Multi-billion Naira Properties



 
In our earlier report today, it was revealed that the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) on Thursday morning, took over the multi-billion naira assets of three companies belonging to outspoken Bayelsa State Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce.
 
The AMCON had, by notice of appointment dated April 18, appointed Muiz Banire as Receiver/Manager over the sprawling assets of the three companies - Silverbird Galleria Limited, Silverbird Promotions Limited, and Silverbird Showtime Limited.
 
As the news went viral online and social media with photos, the popular politician known as the 'common sense senator' took to his social media and reacted to the reports and said;
 
"I have been on an international flight and have only just landed. The situation is being resolved and things will be back to normal. In 36 years, Silverbird has grown and as with any institution, it will face challenges. Tough times dont last. But we, as tough people, outlast them," he wrote on his Twitter accoun

Fayose writes Chinese Government to stop Buhari’s $2bn loan

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has written to the Chinese government, seeking the stoppage of the $2 billion loan being sought by the federal government of Nigeria. In the letter dated April 12, 2016, with reference number EK/GOV/28/10, addressed to President Xi Jinping of China and delivered by Chief of Staff to the governor, Barrister Dipo Anisulowo in Abuja on Thursday, through the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Gu Xiaojie, Fayose said some of the projects for which the loan was being sought were not captured in the controversial 2016 budget, which has been sent to the President by the National Assembly for his assent. Troops Discover Largest Single cache of Boko Haram Ammunition

The Theatre Commander, “Operation Lafiya Dole”, Maj.-Gen. Lucky Irabor, disclosed this at a news conference in Biu on Sunday.   He said the arms and ammunition were hidden in bunkers made by the terrorists.
