Breaking News: OJB Jezreel Is Dead

 
Popular Nigerian musician and producer, Babatunde Jezreel Okungbowa popularly known by his stage name as OJB Jezreel, has passed away a few hours ago in Lagos.
 
According to reliable sources, his kidney transplant failed completely since last week and his family had to keep him on N35,000 dialysis to overcome the relapse.
 
He eventually gave up the ghost about a few hours ago just one month to his 50th birthday as his body has been deposited in a morgue at Isolo General Hospital.
 
Recall that OJB had in 2013 undergone a kidney transplant in India after one of his three wives donated her kidney for him to stay alive.
 
The music star is survived by three wives, June ‘Ama’, Korede and Mabel and many children.

Kashamu's Extradition: AGF, Senate, NDLEA Agree

There is a new twist to the extradition plan by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to hand over the Senator Buruji Kashamu to United States authorities for drug related charges. International media giant, Cable News Network has alleged that the embattled Ali Modu Sheriff is the founder of the rampaging Boko Haram sect that has threatened the security in Nigeria. Ali Modu Sheriff   CNN reported the appointment of former Borno state governor, Ali Modu Sheriff as Acting Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in a rather awkward manner describing him as the founder of Boko Haram which the politician has denied severally.     Sheriff has been widely accused of having a close relationship with the late leader of Boko Haram, Mohammed Yusuf during his 8-year tenure as the governor of the war-torn Borno state.   This revelation by CNN may confirm recent claims by Femi Fani Kayode that Sheriff has strong ties to the terrorist group that has killed over 20,000 Nigerians since 2009.
